Pay with crypto
A crypto dedicated server at Primcast is a whole dedicated server whose invoices you pay in cryptocurrency: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, USDC and four more coins. You get the full machine and an unmetered port, billed month to month with no contract.
Dedicated servers from $9 a month. A server we already have racked is handed over about 30 minutes after your order is approved.
Every invoice gets its own amount, so your payment is matched to it on its own.
01How it works
You order the server like any other customer, then choose crypto on the invoice. There is no payment processor page to sign up for and nothing to install.
Pick the processor, memory, disks and location in the configurator. On the invoice, choose crypto as the payment method.
The checkout converts the invoice at the current rate and shows a deposit address and the precise amount to send. That amount belongs to your invoice alone, which is how your payment gets recognised.
Paste the transaction hash from your wallet. We check for new deposits about every half minute, and the invoice turns paid once the network has confirmed the transfer.
How long the network takes is up to the coin. Bitcoin usually confirms in 10 to 60 minutes depending on how busy the network is; Litecoin needs six confirmations, about 15 minutes. After that, a racked server is ready about 30 minutes after approval, and a server built to order takes 4 to 24 hours.
02Accepted coins
These are the coins the checkout offers for a Primcast invoice. Send each one on the network named here; the deposit address on the checkout is only valid for that network.
| Coin | Ticker | Send it on |
|---|---|---|
| Bitcoin | BTC | the Bitcoin network |
| Ethereum | ETH | Ethereum mainnet |
| USD Coin | USDC | Ethereum, as an ERC-20 token |
| Solana | SOL | the Solana network |
| XRP | XRP | the XRP Ledger, with the destination tag the checkout shows |
| Litecoin | LTC | the Litecoin network |
| Bitcoin Cash | BCH | the Bitcoin Cash network |
| Uniswap | UNI | Ethereum, as an ERC-20 token |
| Chainlink | LINK | the network named on the checkout |
Do not send USDT to a USDC address, and do not send a token over a different chain, such as BEP-20, to an Ethereum address. A transfer on the wrong network is not picked up. If it happens, write to us on chat with the transaction hash and we will look into it.
03What crypto pays for
Crypto works on almost every Primcast invoice. Here are the few exceptions and the checks we run, so nothing surprises you at checkout.
We add no payment fee for crypto. The network fee your wallet charges to send the coin is yours. If you send too little, the checkout shows what is left and you can send the rest as a second transfer.
04The server
Paying in crypto changes how the invoice is settled, nothing else. The server is the same one a card customer gets.
AWhole machine
Every core, every gigabyte of memory and every disk is yours, with full root or administrator access. Install the operating system and the software you need.
BNetwork
Your port is not shared with anyone at the access switch, and nothing meters the traffic on it. Faster ports are an option in the configurator.
CBilling
Pay one month at a time, or pay ahead for a discount. Every charge comes with an itemised invoice in your dashboard that you can download and keep for your records.
DHelp
Our AI chat answers in seconds, any hour, and can check your account, your server and whether your crypto payment has arrived. Ask for a person at any point and one takes over.
Planning to run a blockchain node on it? See dedicated servers for blockchain nodes, or Web3 infrastructure for a wider project. Every server on those pages can be paid in crypto too.
05Questions
Yes. Choose crypto on the invoice, pick Bitcoin, send the exact amount the checkout shows and paste the transaction hash. The invoice is marked paid once the Bitcoin network confirms the transfer, usually within 10 to 60 minutes.
Nine: Bitcoin, Ethereum, USD Coin on Ethereum, Solana, XRP, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Uniswap and Chainlink. USDT is not one of them, so do not send it to a USDC address.
A racked server is handed over about 30 minutes after the order is approved, and the payment counts once the network has confirmed it. A server built to order takes 4 to 24 hours.
Yes. Each renewal invoice can be paid in any of the nine coins. Crypto cannot be charged automatically, so pay each invoice before its due date, or pay three, six or twelve months ahead for 5, 10 or 15% off.
No. We need a valid billing address for every crypto payment. Bitcoin payments, and payments settled through our US company, also need a one-time address verification before the first payment.
No, we add nothing for crypto. You pay the network fee your wallet charges to send the coin, so make sure the amount that arrives matches the checkout.
If you sent too little, the checkout shows what is still due and you can send it as a second transfer. A coin sent on another network than the one listed is not picked up automatically: write to us on chat with the transaction hash and we will look into it.
Yes. The server is yours to run whatever you need, a node included. For sizing a node, see dedicated servers for blockchain nodes.
Yes, any invoice of $3 or more, streaming and radio plans included. The one exception is adding funds to a prepaid GPU marketplace balance, which takes other payment methods.
Configure the machine, choose crypto on the invoice, and your server is on its way once the payment is confirmed and the order approved.
